Here’s a cool way to try out the cuisine at Clearwater Beach restaurants. The 5th Annual Clearwater Beach Taste Fest will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on May 9. The fest features tastings from Clearwater Beach restaurants along with a wine and craft beer village in a great setting on the beach. Tickets are $25 for adults, $12 for kids 6 to 12 years, kids 5 and under are free.

Then from May 12-18, participating Clearwater Beach restaurants will be offering prix fixe menus from $15 to $35. Get more details at www.ClearwaterBeachRestaurantWeek.com

Longtime Belleair Bluffs restaurant LeBouchon Bistro has a new name, décor and chef. The restaurant has been located on Indian Rocks Road since 1981.

Owner David Meumier says he wanted “Le Petit Bistro” to have more of a French flare. “We want you to be able to feel like you are in Paris for the night,” said Meumier in a news release. The restaurant’s chef and general manager is Daniel IV. Autrey, a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Orlando.
