TAMPA, FL (WFLA) - The second day of jury selection has wrapped up for the mother on trial, Julie Schenecker.

The 53-year-old New Tampa woman is on trial for the alleged murders of her two children in January 2011. Schenecker reportedly told police she killed her 13-year-old son Beau and 16-year-old daughter Calyx because they were "mouthy."

Attorneys on both sides the trial questioned dozens of potential jurors for a second day Tuesday.

Schenecker entered a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity.

Jury selection is expected to continue Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. for a third day. Watch jury selection live here.

It sounds like a wild fabrication: A spitting cobra, being prepared for a dish in a restaurant in southern China, bit and killed a chef 20 minutes after its head had been chopped off.

The may look fluffy and cute, but these caterpillars are anything but. Under all that fur on the puss caterpillar are venomous bristles that break off into the skin when touched by humans and cause serious pain.
