RALEIGH, N.C. -

Two people were wounded and one is dead following a shooting Saturday afternoon on New Bern Avenue in Raleigh.

Raleigh police officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 1400 block of New Bern Avenue around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Thomas Anthony Weiner, 30, Fred Douglas Hodge Jr., 61, and Ramon Lee Lyon, 38, were all transported to WakeMed with gunshot wounds.

Weiner died as a result of his injuries. Lyon and Hodge's injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
