TIA rolls out green carpet for IIFA Bollywood stars

TAMPA, FL (WFLA) - Tampa International Airport rolled out the "green" carpet for celebrities attending the IIFA Bollywood awards this weekend in Tampa.

Celebrities were escorted from their flights to TIA's green carpet tent located on the 9th floor of the airport's parking garage.

The green carpet area is open to the public. Many fans gathered there Tuesday and Wednesday to watch the stars as they arrived. Some stars even stopped to sign autographs.

Tampa International Airport and IIFA Tweeted photos of the stars as they arrived.

The International Indian Film Academy Awards will be held Saturday, April 26 at Raymond James Stadium.
