A Pasco County mother of three who is accused of having sex with a 16 year old boy and sending him sexually explicit photos of herself , made a deal with prosecutors Tuesday afternoon.

Alexis Colson, 38, pleaded guilty to unlawful sex activity with a minor and electronic transfer of information harming a minor.

She was sentenced to serve 22 months in prison. She was also sentenced to 24 months of probation as a sex offender.

Sheriff's deputies arrested Colson on January 29, 2013. Investigators say she sent sexually explicit pictures of herself to the teen and planned a meeting so they could have sex.

"She picked him up from school. She knew what she was doing, she was familiar with our family. Preying on children is not acceptable," said Jessica, the victim's older sister. WFLA is not revealing her last name to protect the identity of the victim.

Jessica said this year has been very hard on her brother. He still attends the same school as Colson's own children. After the arrest, other students used social media to bully him, blaming him for the arrest.

"Will justice be served in 22 months? I don't think so, unless she can give him back what she stole from him,"said Jessica.

She said society still has a double standard when it comes to female predators, especially when it comes to teenaged boys.

"So if it were a girl would it be any different? If it were a 37 year old man with a 16 year old girl?" said Jessica.
