RALEIGH, N.C. -

Miami completed a series sweep of North Carolina State University Sunday with a 12-5 win at Doak Field at Dail Park.

The Wolfpack (15-11, 3-9 ACC) trailed the Hurricanes 4-0 by the middle of the fifth before scrapping its way to a 6-5 lead in the sixth inning aided by solo home runs from Andrew Knizner and Jake Armstrong.

But Miami (17-12, 8-4) fought the comeback, tying the game at the top of the seventh and retaking the lead with a three-run homer in the eighth.

Three more runs in the ninth secured Miami's win, 12-5.

The Wolfpack fell to the Hurricanes 2-1 on both Friday and Saturday.

No. 19 N.C. State returns to action April 1 at 6 p.m. for a makeup game at Campbell.
