According to a Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office report deputies were dispatched to 2739 Grand Cayman St. just before 6 p.m. Friday in response to a call about explosives in the front yard of the home.

Investigators determined the items were materials used in making methamphetamine. Due to the highly volatile nature of the chemicals the Sarasota County Fire Department was called to the location to dispose of the materials to avoid a potentially hazardous situation.

Bradley, who was already behind bars following his arrest on an outstanding warrant on Thursday, was charged with out count of trafficking in a controlled substance. He is also facing one count of production of methamphetamine and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

The suspect is no stranger to law enforcement in the area. Bradley has several prior arrests on a variety of charges including battery, domestic violence, petit theft and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license.
