TAMPA, FL (WFLA) - Police say the Chief Financial Officer of a Tampa company has been arrested after he was caught with over 200 color videos of women using bathrooms and bathing.

James Stanton, 39, of Palladio Drive in Trinity, has been charged with 123 counts of video voyeurism. Stanton works as the CFO for MaintenX, a facilities repair maintenance service company, on North Howard Avenue.

Police say over the past several years, Stanton used a video recording device to capture 123 files that depict five victims using bathrooms and showering in the company's locker room.

A brief clip released by Tampa Police shows a man they say is Stanton entering the bathroom after one of his victims, and moving the camera.

"What Mr. Stanton did is a complete invasion of these people's privacy and it's just downright shameful," said Tampa Police Maj. Brian Dugan.

An IT employee discovered the videos when he was asked to service Stanton's computer. The employee then provided the videos and information to management.

After the employee saw no action from management, police say came to detectives with the information and the videos.

There are more than 200 videos that date back to 2010, but in some of the videos, the camera did not capture the victims' faces.

Police are now working to identify those additional victims.

They say Stanton is seen in videos manipulating the camera after the girls exit the rooms.

Detectives served the business with a search warrant at 9 a.m. Friday morning, where the suspect was also arrested and taken to Orient Road Jail.

"You can imagine what it was like to go there at 9 a.m. on a Friday. These poor employees, here they are probably thinking about how the weekend is going to start, and just trying to get through the day, and here at 9 a.m., the cops roll in with a search warrant," said Dugan.

Evidence was taken and will be analyzed to determine if there are additional videos, employees involved and charges. If there are additional victims, please contact 813-231-6130.
