TAMPA, FL (WFLA) - Tampa Police officers responded to reports of a dead baby early Thursday morning.

Officers investigated the death of a 9-month-old child at 1905 24th Ave. in Tampa. They said the baby was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead. They have not found any suspicious circumstances in this death.

TPD's Sex Crimes and Homicide unit will continue to investigate.
