PASCO COUNTY, FL (WFLA) -

A Pasco County teacher accused of using Facebook to persuade two minors in Belize to have sexual relations with him had condoms and a drug for erectile dysfunction in his luggage when he was stopped at the Miami International Airport, according to a federal document.

David Wendel Thompson was arrested Friday, accused of enticing two girls, ages 13 and 15.

Thompson is a teacher at Centennial Middle School in Dade City.

In an online conversation with the 13-year-old last month, Thompson said he had bought a plane ticket to arrive March 14th, according to the criminal complaint obtained by News Channel 8.

The complaint shows he also asks the girl's age, saying: "I thought u were 15 but then u said 13. which is it."

"Im 13 but ppl think im 15," the girl responded.

Later, the complaint states Thompson messaged, "and I want to always be special to u so let me b your first."

Investigators were able to get details about online conversations with the help of Facebook, which also provided them with a user ID and the email address bigdave9200@yahoo.com registered to Thompson.

A Facebook Security Unit also reported that the 13-year-old sent him an "image of a female with her breasts exposed."

In Thompson's luggage, agents reported finding two new computer tablets. In his conversation with the 15-year-old, Thompson asks if she wants a new tablet or "shoes and hat," according to the document.

Thompson told agents with Homeland Security Investigations in Miami that he was planning to spend the first half of his trip in Belize with a 23-year-old woman he had not met, but who was connected to the girls investigators knew as the 13-year-old, but who he said he was told was 18 "but could be 16."

He also told agents, according to the complaint, "that in Belize it is legal to have sex with females over age 16.” However, he tried to only meet females who were at least 18-years old.
