TAMPA, FL (WFLA) - Tampa Police officers are looking for the man who they said stole money from a cash register at a shoe store on Fowler Avenue Thursday.

According to a TPD report, a man in his early 30s, about 5 feet and 5 inches tall, with a very distinct "Racing Fox" red logo tattor on his neck,, walked into Redwing Shoes at 2377 E. Fowler Ave. and shopped for a while until he was the only customer at the store.

He walked around the counter with his hand in his pocket, threatening the clerk that he had a gun. She opened the register for him, fearing for her life, according to the police report.

The man took an undisclosed sum of money and left. Police said he fled towards the University Square Mall.
