Johnson City Police Department’s Special Investigation Squad arrested 37 year-old Sherridan Ray Queen, and charged him with Felony Evading Arrest, Possession with Intent to Sell Schedule VI drugs, Simple Possession of Schedule III drugs, Felony Reckless Endangerment, and Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia.
Around 4:40 p.m. Investigators attempted to stop a suspicious vehicle at Alpine Package store on N. Broadway Street. As Investigators approached the vehicle on foot, the vehicle sped off. A short time later, the vehicle was located with Queen behind the wheel.
During the investigation, marijuana, hydrocodone pills, scales, and sandwich bags were located.
Mr. Queen was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center. He is being held on a $32,000 bond.
His arraignment is set for Friday March 14th, in Washington County General Sessions Court.
