TAMPA, FL (WFLA) -

Investigators say DNA evidence led them to a man accused of stabbing another man to death and then stealing his wallet and cell phone.

Qushawn Williams, 21, of Tampa is charged with second degree murder and theft in connection with the death of Juan Ordonez, 51, of Tampa.

Tampa Police detectives say Williams stabbed Ordonez after they got into a fight on Feb. 23. Williams then took Ordonez's wallet and cell phone and used the cell phone multiple times after the murder.

Detectives sent DNA from the scene to FDLE's crime lab and results came back yesterday matching William's DNA. Williams told detectives that he had never been inside Ordonez's home.
