Fayetteville police searching for missing Ft. Bragg soldier

Police said Josiah Paul Simpson was reported missing by his family on March 3 after last being seen at the Holiday Inn Express located at 1706 Skibo Road on March 1. FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

The Fayetteville Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating a 23-year-old man missing since March 1.

Police said Josiah Paul Simpson was reported missing by his family on March 3 after last being seen at the Holiday Inn Express located at 1706 Skibo Road on March 1.

Simpson is a soldier stationed at Fort Bragg and has not reported for duty, police said. 

Police said Simpson 6 feet tall, weighing 144 pounds with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Police said Simpson has been known to operate a dark gray 2011 Dodge Charger with a North Carolina plate reading ACZ-4056. 

If anyone has information concerning the whereabouts of Josiah Simpson, they are asked to contact detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 433-1856.
