52-year-old Siler City man killed in accident in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. -
A 52-year-old man died in a single-vehicle accident Friday after the truck he was driving fell off an Interstate 40 overpass onto Gorman Street, police said.
William Darryl Martin, of Siler City, was killed when the truck he was driving exited I-40 East and traveled about 800 feet before it fell off the overpass onto Gorman Street around 10:45 a.m., according to a crash report.
Police said Martin was traveling 90 mph in a 65 mph zone. The truck was going 63 mph at the time of impact.
Martin was the only occupant in the vehicle, police said.
Gorman Street was reopened two hours later, according to police.
