HOLIDAY, FL (WFLA) -

An incident report is shedding new light on the events leading up to a shooting at a Pasco chiropractor's office.

On Monday February 17, investigators say Jamie Velez went into the West Coast Spine & Injury Center on U.S. 19 in Holiday. He got into an argument with Dr. Lenny Linardos, during which deputies say Linardos shot Velez three times.

According to the report, during an interview with deputies, a wounded Velez told them he had received text messages from Linardos, alleging that Velez's girlfriend was at the office performing oral sex on him.

Deputies took two firearms from the scene, but the report does not say who owned them.

Linardos was never officially interviewed, but according to the report, he said to deputies on the scene "this was all over a girl, all over a girl".

Velez, 33, was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

So far, no charges have been filed in this case.
