Tampa restaurant ranks as one of best in America

TAMPA, FL (WFLA) - A Tampa steak house is getting some national recognition.

Bern's Steak House has been named in The Daily Meal's list of 101 Best Restaurants in America, coming in at number 28.

Other Florida restaurants named on the list are Joe's Stone Crab in Miami at number 55 and Michael's Genuine in Miami at number 74.

Criteria was based on cuisine, region, including level of “buzz” and formality of  the restaurant. Once a list of nominees was determined, The Daily Meal had a panel of 100 judges vote on each restaurant.
