RALEIGH, N.C. -
Singer James Taylor is warning North Carolinians about the dangers of fracking in a series of television spots set to air this week.
"Big oil and gas are pushing the governor and the legislature to allow reckless fracking," says Taylor, who grew up in Chapel Hill. "Fracking is dirty and it's dangerous. It can poison drinking water, and chemicals in fracking fluid are known to cause cancer," Taylor adds.
