LAKELAND, FL (WFLA) -

How many people does it take to make and serve thousands of pancakes?

In Lakeland, it takes hundreds.

Over the weekend, the Lakeland Kiwanis hosted its 56th Annual Pancake Breakfast.

About 7,000 people dined on pancakes at Lakeland's Tiger Town Hanger.

Each year, more than 600 volunteers plan, make and serve the pancakes.
