FALL BRANCH, TN (WJHL) -

Deputies with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Fall Branch man Thursday after he allegedly got into a physical domestic dispute with his wife and stuck the barrel of his pistol inside her mouth.

According to a WCSO news release, deputies responded to 176 Highway 93 on a physical domestic call, which revealed that Jackie Wexler, 27, of that residence had been fighting with his wife.

When the woman tried to run from the home to escape the dispute, Wexler reportedly took his .22 caliber pistol, fired it into the air to get the woman back inside the residence.

According to the release, Wexler then put the barrel of the pistol into her mouth in front of their two children.

Wexler was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault and two counts of reckless endangerment.

He was taken to the Washington County Detention Center and was being held on $70,000 bond.

Wexler is scheduled to appear in Sessions Court Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
