The Auburn Police Division arrested Amber M. Miller, age 31 from Auburn on felony warrants charging her with two counts of identity theft and two counts of fraudulent use of a credit/debit card.

The arrest stems from an ongoing investigation of a police report dated January 1, 2014 from a residence in the 400 block of Belmonte Drive. The victim told officers that Miller, who was an acquaintance, obtained her personal information while she was at her residence and opened credit card accounts in her name.  Once Miller received the credit cards, she made various purchases with them between March and May of 2013 totaling over $11,000.

She was transported to the Lee County jail and will be eligible for a $16,000 bond.
