AUBURN, Ala. -

The Auburn Police Department is releasing a photo of man wanted for recent thefts with the hope someone will recognize him and call police.

The thefts were reported on January 15, 17, and 20 at the Wal-Mart location on South College Street. A store representative told officers the man entered the business and placed electronics into a shopping cart before leaving the store without paying. The suspect forcefully fled the store during the incident on January 20, according to police. Police have not said how much the man has stolen.

The suspect has been seen leaving Wal-Mart in small, black vehicle described as being possibly a Saturn or Lincoln Town car. The vehicle is gold in color. The police are asking for help in identifying the man captured on surveillance video.

If you have any information concerning the case or the individual you are asked to call the Auburn Police Department at 334-501-3140 or the Tip line 334-246-1391.
