LAND O' LAKES, FL (WFLA) - A memorial service was held Saturday for a Bay area man who was shot and killing during a dispute over texting at a movie theater.

Family and friends gathered to say goodbye to Chad Oulson at the Land O’Lakes Church of God. The service followed the 43-year-old man’s funeral.

Oulson's wife was also shot in the hand during the dispute on Monday at a Wesley Chapel movie theater.

Nicole Oulson's lawyers say she is "grieving the death of her husband" and comforting the couple's 22-month-old daughter.

Curtis Reeves, a 71-year-old retired police officer, is charged with second-degree murder and is being held without bail in connection with the incident.
