FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

Police have arrested one man and issued a warrant for the arrest of another in connection with a stolen Ferrari in Fayetteville.

Darrell Antjuan Shaw, 26, was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of felonious breaking and entering, and one count each of felonious larceny, larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, felonious destruction of a stolen motor vehicle and felonious conspiracy.

Police have also issued a warrant for the arrest of Daniel Ray French, 24, on the same charges.

Shaw and French are accused of stealing a 2004 Spider Ferrari from a home in the 1900 block of Dante Lane during a breaking and entering on Jan. 9.

Police said the suspects entered the home by forcing open a window. They then gathered jewelry and electronics before finding the keys to the car.

The suspects fled the scene in the Ferrari, police said. The car was later recovered.

Shaw is being held on a $9,000 secured bond.

Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of French, is asked to contact Detective J. Nevitt with the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 703-3499 or Crimestoppers at (910) 483-TIPS (8477).
