ST PETERSBURG, FL (WFLA) - A construction worker died Thursday morning after falling 30 feet from a catwalk on the Eckerd College Campus in St. Petersburg.

The accident happened around 9:20 a.m. inside the auditorium of the Bininger Performing Arts Building, according to a spokesperson for St. Petersburg Fire Rescue.

It is not known whether Terry Lynn Flack, 60, suffered a medical episode which may have contributed to the fall, or if there was some other cause. Nothing has been found which might suggest an equipment or structural failure, according to SPFR.

Paramedics found Flack in cardiac arrest when they arrived on scene. He was transported to Bayfront Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

Flack was a resident of Brooksville. He was employed by Universal Control, who is serving as an electrical contractor at Eckerd College.

Eckerd College is located at 4200 54th Ave. S.
