NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Country singer Trace Adkins has entered rehab after he was allegedly involved in a fight with a Trace Adkins impersonator on a recent cruise.

According to TMZ, Adkins was headlining a country cruise en route to Jamaica when the incident occurred on Monday.

Witnesses reported the altercation broke out between the two men who were doing karaoke.

Upon arriving to Jamaica, Adkins is said to have left the ship and has since entered a rehab at an unknown facility.

"Trace has entered a treatment facility after a setback in his battle with alcoholism. As he faces these issues head on, we ask that his family's privacy will be respected," Trace Adkins' rep said in a release.

Adkins had been sober for 12 years prior to the alleged fight on board the cruise ship.
