The Cobb Grove 16 Theater in Wesley Chapel is tentatively scheduled to reopen Wednesday, two days after a man shot and killed another man following a fight over texting.

A judge denied bond Tuesday for retired Tampa Police Capt. Curtis Reeves, 71. Investigators say Reeves shot Chad Oulson, 43, during the previews for the Lone Survivor.

The theater's website says:

"We will reopen for business on Wednesday, Jan. 15. Guests with pre-purchased tickets will be issued alternative movie passes or a refund with ticket purchase confirmation at the box office once opened."

Tickets were still unavailable for online purchase early Wednesday morning. The movie listings for Wednesday include Lone Survivor at 12:50 p.m.

A Cobb Theater spokeswoman says the company has a zero tolerance policy for weapons and signs are clearly posted telling people not to bring knives or guns inside the theater.

"We are deeply saddened by the events that occurred on Monday, and our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. The theatre is currently closed, and we are actively working with the sheriff's office on this investigation. This was an isolated altercation between two guests that escalated unexpectedly. The safety, security and comfort of our guests and team members are always our top priorities, and we are truly heartbroken by this incident." the statement from the Cobb Theatres read.
