Jordan's UNC transcript for sale at auction

Posted: Updated:

Michael Jordan's transcript from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is up for sale, according to an auction website.

Goldin Auctions said the transcript had been displayed at Jordan's "23" restaurant in Chapel Hill and was in a group of items that was stored after the restaurant closed.

Jordan left Carolina after his junior year, in 1984, but eventually earned his degree in 1986.

The transcript shows him graduating with a geography degree in 1986.

In the fall of 1981, Jordan took elementary Portugese, beginning tennis, basic writing, selected topic/math and a freshman political science seminar, according to the transcript.

The auction is asking for an opening bid of $1,000, which it has not yet received.
