3 wanted in connection with New Bern Ave. shooting in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. -

Raleigh Police need help finding three suspects wanted in connection with a shooting on New Bern Ave. on Dec. 26.

The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. Dec. 26 in the 1600 block of New Bern Ave. Officers were responding to an injured-person call when they found a 39-year-old man who had been shot.

An investigation into the incident revealed the victim had been at a nightclub before accepting a ride from the three suspects. Police said at one point the victim was ordered out of the vehicle and then shot.

The victim was taken to WakeMed for treatment.

Anyone with information about the shooting or suspects is asked to call Raleigh CrimeStoppers at 919-834-HELP.
