ST PETERSBURG, FL - The weather held up for the swearing in of St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman Thursday.

Kriseman was sworn in on the front steps of the St. Petersburg City Hall.

Organizers had prepared a back-up plan that would have moved the ceremony inside to the council chamber if it rained.

The ceremony was open to the public.
