Boat located in the case of missing fishermen on Lake Tarpon

TARPON SPRINGS, FL (WFLA) - The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said Thursday deputies had recovered the boat belonging to two fisherman whose bodies were found in Lake Tarpon Wednesday.  Deputies said the vessel was approximately 13 feet underwater ooff the east coast of the lake.  They said there did not appear to be any damage to the boat but a thorough inspection of it will be conducted in the coming days.

Divers with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office recovered the bodies of the two boaters onWednesday.

Willie Ragins, 43, and Willie Hightower, 64 launched their 14-foot boat at A.L. Anderson Park in Tarpon Springs Saturday around noon. 

Their truck and trailer are still parked right next to the boat launch. Pinellas County Sheriff's officials say one of the men called a relative Saturday around 10 p.m.  When they didn't return home by Sunday morning, the relative called for help.

Investigators say the deaths do not appear to be suspicious.
