BARTOW, FL (WFLA) - A 22-year-old Polk County man was shot to death early Saturday morning at a Bartow apartment complex.

Kamorri J. Collins was pronounced dead at the scene just before 4 a.m.

According to a Bartow Police Department report officers were dispatched to the Azalea Gardens development at 1050 South Golfview Ave. in response to a shots fired call at 3:35 a.m.

The victim suffered at least one gunshot wound. The investigation is in its early stages and so far no suspects have been identified.
