Thief steals car left running at Seffner gas station

SEFFNER, FL - The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is asking for help finding a man who stole a car that was left running at a Seffner gas station.

The 1997 Infiniti QX4 contained the victim's wallet, cell phone and several Christmas presents.

Investigators believe the person who stole the vehicle might be a homeless man who is known to frequent the area.

The theft happened around 8:05 a.m. on Dec. 18 at a Circle K located at 6009 Highway 579.

Investigators say the thief frequents that Circle K. He was last seen driving on Interstate 4 toward Orlando.

Detectives described the suspect as a white male, 30 to 49 years-old, 5'11". He had a medium build and brown hair.
The suspect was last seen wearing a gray long sleeve shirt, white socks, dark colored shoes, pants and was carrying a dark-colored bag.
