Roane County, TN -
The Tennessee Highway Patrol asked for information Thursday night about the death of a man found on Christmas morning on Interstate 40 in Roane County, Tennessee.

THP said Brian William Taylor of Heath Springs, South Carolina was found on the eastbound side of I-40 after a call to dispatchers at 2:29 a.m..

"The preliminary investigation indicated the man either jumped or fell from a moving vehicle and his body was then struck by at least one other vehicle," according to a news release.

Taylor was found wearing blue jeans, a blue and white checked flannel shirt, and tan work boots.   He was 42 years old.

"The Tennessee Highway Patrol's Criminal Investigation Division is investigating every possible scenario, including foul play," THP said.

Anyone with information should contact the Tennessee Highway Patrol Knoxville District Headquarters at 865-594-5800.
