Three from Phenix City arrested for Auburn shoplifting

Three from Phenix City have been arrested for shoplifting, Auburn police announced Wednesday afternoon.

Alyssa Byers, 25; Billy Trillet, 48; and Joey Whittington, 23; were arrested on Tuesday on felony warrants for Theft of Property Second Degree. The three are accused of trying to take more than $800 worth of merchandise from a business in the 1700 block of South College Street.

Bond was set at $3,000 for each individual.
