AUBURN, Ala. -

UPDATE: Shamon Williams and Shatarious Cobb have now been additionally charged with attempted murder for one of the victims who was shot at the bar.

An Auburn man and an Opelika man have been arrested for a fatal shooting at an Auburn bar on Sunday.

Auburn police arrested Shamon Williams, of Opelika; and Shatarious Cobb, of Auburn, both 21, for firing the shots inside Jackie Lee's bar that killed one and injured two others. Both Williams and Cobb were arrested after warrants were issued for their arrests.

Officers arriving at the bar Sunday found two victims who had suffered gunshot wounds. A third victim arrived at the hospital with injuries a short time later.

One of the victims, Marquez J. Patrick, 20, of Opelika, died at the hospital as a result of the gunshot wounds. The other victims, a 22-year old from Auburn and a 19-year old from Loachapoka were treated for non-life threatening injuries and released on Sunday.

The case remains under investigation and additional charges are expected. This is the first of two homicides in Auburn in three days. On Tuesday, a man was found dead inside his apartment on East University Drive. No arrests have been made in that case.
