AUBURN, Ala. -

Auburn police have arrested 22-year-old Gregory Gary, Jr. of Montgomery, Ala. for the murder of an Auburn man.

Tuesday night officers found Richard DeVore, 24, dead inside his home at Garden District apartments, located in the 100 block of East University Drive. Lee County Coroner Bill Harris pronounced DeVore dead at the scene. The cause of death is not being released pending the conclusion of the investigation.

Auburn police developed Gray as a suspect the same day. Other Alabama law enforcement agencies assisted in the search, and Gray was turned over to Auburn Wednesday. He was transported to the Lee County Detention Center and bond was set at $150,000.

This is Auburn's second homicide in three days. On Sunday, an Opelika man died in a shooting at an Auburn bar.
