Tampa's Big Cat Rescue celebrates holidays

Posted: Updated:
TAMPA, FL (WFLA) - Exotic cats at the Big Cat Rescue in Tampa were celebrating the holidays like everyone else on Tuesday.   Holiday treats, decorated Christmas trees and wrapped gifts were given to each of the cats to help get them get into the holiday spirit.

Officials at the rescue say every cat acts differently when given a Christmas tree.  They said that some of the cats  hid under them, others rubbed on the pine limbs, and others just sniffed them before "marking"  their territory.
