BROOKSVILLE, FL (WFLA) - A Brooksville mother was arrested for DUI after police say she backed into another vehicle while picking up her child at school.

Brooksville Police arrested Brenda Carol Shyrock, 47, just after 4 p.m. Monday outside of Brooksville Elementary School.

Police originally responded to a call about a two-car crash at the school. When officers arrived, they say Shyrock had a strong odor of alcohol on her breath and she was crying and yelling.
