ZEPHYRHILLS, FL (WFLA) - It could be a tough day in the halls of Zephyrhills High School. Grief counselors will be on hand Monday to help students deal with the death of their 16-year-old classmate Tuvarrion 'Jay' Sirmons.

Pasco County deputies arrested 18-year-old Cleave Gittens Friday for second-degree murder.

Investigators say the two teens got into a verbal argument Friday afternoon in a Wesley Chapel subdivision.  Gittens pulled a knife from his pants pocket and stabbed Sirmons twice, according to an arrest report. Sirmons, who was not armed, was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Circuit Court Judge W. Lowell Bray Jr. set Gittens' bond at $100,000 Saturday morning.

Pasco County Sheriff's investigators say it's unclear what the teens were arguing about or if they even knew each other before their fatal encounter.
