Tampa police say Bell and two other suspects called for a cab at around 7:45 on Sunday night to take them to a different location.

Bell arrived and picked them up. While they were en-route to their destination, they shot the cab driver and fled the scene near the intersection of Eskimo and 18th Street.

The suspects' final destination is still unclear at this time.

Detectives identified Devante Bell though records from the cab company.

In court Wednesday morning, Judge Walter Heinrich issued no bond.

Heinrich said Bell helped to wipe down the cab after the murder.

In court we also learned Bell has a criminal past. As a juvenile, Bell was arrested for robbery, theft, battery and alcohol possession.

Tampa police are working to identify the two additional suspects involved in the Sunday night murder.

Crime Stoppers offered a cash reward up to $3,000 for tips that may remain anonymous.
