TAMPA, FL (WFLA) -

Investigators with the Tampa Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in tracking down a murder suspect.

Agustin Osorio-Pacheco was shot to death during a robbery Saturday night at the Extended Stay America Hotel at 4312 West Spruce St. The incident occurred just after 10 p.m.

According to a TPD report the deceased man was sitting on the tailgate of a pick-up truck having a beer in the parking lot of the hotel with another man when a vehicle pulled up. An armed man exited and demanded cash from Osorio-Pacheco, 41, and Nicolas Bravos, 33 of Tampa.

Bravos handed over his valuables but Osorio-Pacheco attempted to flee, running across the parking lot towards the hotel. The armed suspect ran after him and shot him near the entrance of the hotel.

Osorio-Pacheco was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital where he later died.

The two suspects drove away in a gray-colored Ford F-150 pick-up truck. Investigators say the men are black males who were wearing dark-colored clothing.

Bravos and Osorio-Pacheco are both residents of Winter Garden, a small town in Orange County near Orlando. They are construction laborers and were staying at the hotel as they were working in Tampa.

If you have any information about this incident please contact the Tampa Police Department.
