Bargain Computers USA is nestled in the warehouse district of Tampa's Adamo drive and one of only 38 certified Microsoft refurbishers in the world.

"The computers are coming to us from Fortune 100 companies - it's literally off their desk," explained Brian Diesselhorst, the senior vice-president of Bargain Computers.

The computers which are in mint condition then go into a state-of-the-art caged-in wiping area where all private information is sanitized and destroyed. Then the desktops go through a total transformation.

"Then the computers are rebuilt with new sticks of memory, new processors, new hard drives," Diesselhorst said.

Next a Microsoft operating system is installed so you get your Bargain in a Box computer, all you have to do is power up and you're good to go.

Bargain Computers just formed a partnership with Goodwill Suncoast Industries and will stock the certified pre-owned computers in all 15 Goodwill stores throughout Tampa Bay.

"Goodwill shoppers are smart they're looking for a good deal a lot of them are also in to sustainability - and recycling so these partnership with Bargain Computers fit right into our mission at Goodwill to be sustainable," said Jennifer Lugo of Goodwill.

The computers range in price from $189.00 to $208.00 depending on whether you get a laptop or a desktop.
