A St. Petersburg woman is charged with drunk driving after investigators say she rear-ended a school bus with her young son in her car.
It happened around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday as Nancy Kavallierakis was driving eastbound on 30th Avenue North. A Pinellas County school bus was in front of her. Police say the bus came to a stop, and Kavallierakis ran into the back of it.
Kavallierakis' three-year-old son was in the car with her at the time.
There were no injuries reported to any of the drivers or passengers.
A DUI investigation was conducted, and Kavallierakis was arrested for DUI. She is charged with felony DUI, careless driving, and refusal to submit to a breath/blood/urine test.
