Bucs' QB Glennon named NFL offensive rookie of month

TAMPA, FL (WFLA) - Tampa Bay Buccaneers' quarterback Mike Glennon was named NFL's offensive rookie of the month in November Wednesday, according to NBC Sports.

Glennon, a third-round pick in 2013 NFL draft, replaced Josh Freeman as a starting quarterback after the team released Freeman in October.

With Glennon as a starting QB, the Bucs won three straights games. Glennon went 62-of-88 for 785 yards, seven touchdowns and one interception according to NBC Sports.

According to Associated Press, Glennon's solid play has been one of the keys to the Buc's resurgence.

"He’s is a guy you’d love to have as a quarterback for a long time,” Tampa Bay Bucs' coach Greg Schiano said according to NBC Sports.
