Police officers help man decorate home for Christmas

Posted: Updated:
MEMPHIS, TN -

A Christmas tradition will continue for a grandfather who has decorated his yard nearly every year for the holidays.

For the last 22 years, Clayton Walring has decorated his Memphis yard like no other.  He has a Ferris wheel, a carousel, and even a roller coaster driven by Santa.

This year, Walring said he was getting too old to do all the work.  He tried to give it up but Memphis police officers who patrol his neighborhood wouldn't`t let him.  Several members of the police force and their families are pitching in.

Walring and his family say they couldn't be happier for the help so they can keep spreading holiday cheer to the kids.
