Kat Robichaud was eliminated from NBC's "The Voice" Tuesday night.

Kat once again landed in the bottom three, but this week's Instant Save went to her teammate, Caroline Pennell. Still, Kat said her experience on the show was invaluable.

"I really gained a lot of confidence in who I am," she said. "This is how I perform and I'm cool with that. A lot of people are."

Her elimination came a night after she said she had the opportunity to live out a childhood dream. She hoped the performance would be enough to carry her through to the next round of the competition.

"I can't beg people to love me, you know what I mean?" Kat said Tuesday. "I can only be myself."

This was the third time the North Carolina native has landed in the bottom three, however the previous two weeks she was saved from elimination. Her coach, CeeLo Green, saved her the first week, and last week she was saved by the newly introduced Instant Save.

Monday, Kat performed Pat Benatar's rock ballad "We Belong," complete with masked backup dancers and a gold piano. She said the spectacle was childhood dream.

"I just got to live out a childhood fantasy in front of millions of people," Kat said after the performance. "I grew up listening to Pat Benatar. My band The Design used to do Pat Benatar, but we never did 'We Belong.' And that's one of my favorite songs of hers.

"She's just got such an amazing voice. She got that nice vibrato and that nice grit."

She said CeeLo helped breathe life into her vision for the performance in a way that only her flashy coach could.

"CeeLo was like, 'After you play the piano, you have to get up on that piano and then just rock it out ... and the guys have to be wearing masks and your piano has to be gold,'" Kat said.

The theatrics seemed to pay off with the coaches, who said she gave it her all.

"In your past performances, it seems like there's been trouble or you've been fledgling a little bit," Adam Levine said. "This was finally, in a way, the Kat that we all were waiting to see. This was literally, to me, what we've all been sitting here wanting to see the entire time."

Kat's performance was enough for the song to come in at number 4 on the iTunes rock chart behind Cole Vosbury's rendition of "To Be With You" and Ray Bourdeaux's cover of "You Are The Best Thing." However her song charted at 76 on the overall iTunes chart, behind Vosbury, Matthew Schuler, James Wolpert, Caroline Pennell, Tessanne Chin, Will Champlin, Boudreaux and Jacquie Lee.
