PASCO COUNTY, FL (WFLA) - You might not recognize her just yet, but in some neighborhoods, realtor Jackie Youngblood has already made a name for herself.

In 2011, she earned one one of the highest grossing commissions in her company, more than $150,000, and she's doing it by specializing in a very niche market: nudists.

"Nudists have the money. They've worked hard for that money and they enjoy life and if they want a home, they're gonna buy a home," Youngblood said. "They have nothing to hide. They're just wonderful people."

She estimates anywhere between 90 to 95 percent of her business comes from the nudist-clothing optional lifestyle clients and now a major network is taking notice.
Starting Wednesday, Youngblood will be featured in the TLC show called "Buying Naked", produced by Paper Route Productions out of New York. It will focus on Pasco County, where more than a dozen nudist communities make up one of the largest clothing-optional areas in the world.

Youngblood, a native Georgian with a southern drawl and also a grandmother of eight, hopes it is "educational" for viewers.

"I want people to see nudists as people... and nothing other than that," she said.

TLC says the show will also focus on the fact that "what these couples lack in clothing, they gain in everyday hazards. Simple tasks like cooking, cleaning and even walking pose safety threats as sharp counter corners and cramped kitchen alleyways can injure the house's inhabitants without the barrier of a basic t-shirt."

The American Association for Nude Recreation says the clothing-optional lifestyle is big business; a more than $400 million industry. The group says it serves more than 213,000 people and 260 affiliated clubs, resorts, bed & breakfasts and RV campgrounds.

TLC's "Buying Naked" premieres Wednesday, November 20 at 10 p.m.
