The vehicle exited the north side of the roadway near the Oakstead Blvd. intersection and turned over several times. Graciani, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected.

Richards sustained serious injuries and was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa where he is listed in critical condition.

Graciani and Richards both attended and played football for Sunlake High School in Land O’ Lakes.

The official cause of the crash is still under investigation and so far no charges have been filed.
