Fla. teen stops intruder with bow, arrow

Posted: Updated:
An Oak Hill teenager stopped an intruder with a bow and arrow Saturday morning, WESH reported.

According to WESH, Mariah Reed was home alone on Saturday when she found a stranger in her house. The girl got scared and reached for a bow she had in her closet. Reed told WESH she liked to play with the bow. This time it was her protection.

She held it right to the intruder's head, according to WESH. The  intruder, a woman in a shower cap, panicked.

"And she was just panicking, saying 'Oh my God, you gonna shoot me with that?' I'm like, 'Get out of my house. What are you doing in my house? Get out,'" Reed told WESH.

Reed called 911. When police arrived, they discovered that the woman, Marcia Watson, lived on the same street. She was rambling while speaking with the police, according to WESH. She said she had a wrong house and apologized. Police arrested her for trespassing.
